Project Insight™ mission is to improve the physical and emotional well-being of individuals. Serving the veterans, active older adults, healthcare organizations, and educational institutions through expressive arts.
Project Insight™ was created to build artistic expression through art education. This organization will address social disconnection and decreased quality of life’s traumatic experiences by building resiliency, reducing social and emotional isolation, and creating a stronger community engagement for its participants.
Tragedies:
Children affected by the Watts riots in California
Healthcare workers involved with victims of Hurricane Katrina
Schools affected by shootings in El Paso, Texas
Tornado and disaster relief in Oklahoma, in conjunction with the American Red Cross and others
Military:
Ongoing work with veterans
Children of Texas National Guard soldiers while their parents were serving in the war
National Guard Yellow Ribbon Program, helping families with reintegration
Traumatized women veterans in San Antonio, Texas
Health:
Cancer support groups such as H.O.P.E. (Helping Other Patients Emotionally)
Extensive work with individuals and groups to promote wellness
Youth:
Supporting teens through parenting issues through T.A.P.P. (Teen Age Parenting Program)
Emotional support for teen birth mothers in an adoption program
